gourmetMAPS is not a personal Google Maps profile. It is an independent professional project that applies the experience of a Level 8 Local Guide to help restaurants, accommodation and businesses improve their online presence.

Just opened on the harbour breakwater, with the beach right in front. It’s the latest project from Vivir Descalzo, the Balearic group behind Roto in Ibiza and Caladero in Formentera: Mediterranean cooking built on fish from the local market and produce from the Valencian huerta, from arroz del senyoret to Balearic-style fried lobster with eggs.

Where we test the latest technology.

We put it through real situations, food, travel, hotels, architecture and the city, to find out how far it can go. The ZEISS multifocal system, put to the test.

The vivo X300 Ultra was lent to us by the brand for these tests. The collaboration ended in October 2026 and did not influence our technical judgement or editorial opinion.
